Preparation and characterization of composite phase change material based on hydration-crystallization method
Based on hydration-crystallization method,a novel kind of polyethylene glycol(PEG)-cement composite phase change material was prepared by using cement as cementitious packaging material. The microstructure, chemical composition, thermal storage performance and thermal stability of PEG-cement composite phase change material were studied. The experimental results showed that PEG was filled in the pores of cement hydration products, indicating that the cement had a good encapsulation effect on PEG.PEG and cement were only physically mixed without chemical reaction. The prepared PEG-cement composite phase change material had the maximum melting enthalpy of 37.47 J/g and good thermal stability below 300 ℃,which can be used as a temperature-regulating agent for building energy conservation.
