Effect of construction waste recycled aggregate on the properties of raw soil
Construction waste resulting from soil excavation and building demolition is currently a huge amount of waste, which face the practical need to expand their application scope. This article uses SEM,depth of field image analysis, and thermal conduc-tivity testing,to analyze the impact of recycled coarse and fine aggregates(RBG、RBA)mixed with waste bricks, recycled coarse and fine aggregates(RCG、RCA)mixed with waste concrete on the properties of natural soil materials under different mix proportions. The experimental results indicate that the addition of recycled aggregates is beneficial for enhancing the compaction and strength of natural soil materials. When 10%RCA and 30%RCG are added, the maximum dry density and 28 d compressive strength of the natural soil increased by 12.7%and 33.0%,respectively.Adding recycled aggregates can optimize the pore structure of natural soil materials, improve their water resistance without affecting its thermal conductivity.
