Pridynamics simulation in dynamic failure process of concrete materials
Using the viscoelastic peridynamics technique,a dynamic fracture criterion for the elongation of the near-field dy-namic bond was obtained by analogy with the uniaxial strength J criterion of concrete.By simulating components such as filled concrete slabs and beams under aggregates, the influence of aggregates on crack morphology and crack propagation pathways under different loading rates was explored. The outcomes revealed that the larger the loading rate, the greater the fracture degree of the aggregates filled in concrete. The dynamic fracture J criterion can effectively delineates concrete's failure modes under dynamic loading conditions, and this method provides guidance for damage prevention and control engineering of concrete.
