Study on the effect of different wood fibers on the hydration process of cement-based cementitious materials
The addition of wood fiber can improve the tensile strength of cement-based cementitious materials. However, most wood furniture enterprises only use mechanically broken and boiled wood fiber to retard and block cement-based products, which hinders the application of wood fiber in cement products. In order to improve the utilization rate of wood fiber in wood furniture enterprises, this paper studies the effect of wood fiber pretreated by alkali method on the hydration process of cement-based ce-mentitious materials from the aspect ratio of mechanically broken pine and miscellaneous wood fiber. The results show that the unpretreated miscellaneous wood fiber only affects the early hydration heat release rate of cement, and has little effect on the hy-dration heat release of cement. The unpretreated pine fiber has obvious coagulation inhibition effect.Soaking with Ca(OH)2 solution can effectively reduce the retarding effect of wood fiber on cement hydration.Compared with other alkali solution soaking, soaking with Ca(OH)2 can avoid the introduction of other substances into the cement cementitious system.
