Experimental study on compatibility of composite waterproof layer
According to the national standard GB 55030-2022"General code for waterproofing of building and municipal engi-neering",the waterproofing practice for first-class waterproofing requires a minimum of 3 layers, with at least 2 layers dedicated to external waterproofing. The conventional approach in waterproof design and construction involves utilizing composite waterproof lay-ers to achieve the desired level of water resistance. This paper combines various commonly used waterproof materials in architec-tural and municipal engineering applications, analyzing the compatibility between these composite waterproof layers based on bond strength and damage patterns. This analysis provides a basis for material selection during the design and construction of composite waterproof layers. The results show that the non-curing rubber asphalt waterproof coating has good composite effect with modified asphalt waterproof coating and PVC waterproof coating.
