Experimental study on the stress performance of EPS external wall insulation system reinforced with polyurethane adhesive
Design tensile tests, fatigue tests, and reinforcement fatigue tests for EPS insulation boards, and study the effects of bonding rate and bonding method on the tensile bearing capacity and fatigue performance of EPS boards and polyurethane adhesive reinforced specimens. The results show that under the same conditions, except for full adhesion, the average tensile bearing capacity of EPS board is as follows:strip adhesion>point adhesion>cross adhesion>point frame adhesion, from high to low.The fatigue num-ber of EPS boards is positively correlated with the bonding rate, and the strip bonding method has the best fatigue performance. The average tensile bearing capacity of the specimens reinforced with polyurethane adhesive meets the standard requirement and reaches at least 90%of the full adhesive tensile bearing capacity. The maximum impact of initial fatigue on the reinforcement ef-fect is only 7%,and the fatigue times of point bonding, strip bonding, cross bonding, and point frame bonding after reinforcement reach at least 87%,89%,87%,and 75%of full bonding, respectively. The cumulative fatigue times after polyurethane adhesive rein-forcement are more, and the overall service life of the EPS board is extended, the reinforcement method is relatively reliable.
