The durability of waterproof materials is related to the durability and safety of buildings.The durability require-ments and research status of 5 typical polymer waterproof materials such as SBS modified asphalt waterproofing material,TPO wa-terproofing material,PVC waterproofing material,polyurethane waterproofing coating and MS sealant are introduced.The shortcomings of current research are pointed out and suggestions for research directions are proposed.
