Preparation of circulating fluidized bed fly ash-based foamed lightweight soil and its durability properties
In order to promote the realization of bulk elimination of solid wastes such as circulating fluidized bed fly ash(CF-BFA)and red mud(RM),CFBFA-based foamed lightweight soil(CBFLS)was prepared by using both of them as the main raw ma-terials,mixed with steel slag(SS)and desulphurized gypsum(DG),the fluidity of the slurry and the mechanical properties of the CBFLS were analyzed, the durability was tested by the experiments of volumetric water absorption, dry and wet cycles, freeze and thaw cycles, and the resistance to sulphate attack, the environmental safety was assessed by leaching experiments with acetic acid solution. The results show that when m(CFBFA)∶m(RM)∶m(SS)∶m(DG)=47.5∶28.5∶19:5,the 7d and 28 d strength of 900 kg/m3 speci-men is 1.28 MPa and 1.45 MPa,respectively, which can meet the requirements of road bed construction. The CBFLS has good durability and can effectively solidify Na+and other heavy metal ions, and the leaching results meet the GB 5749-2022 standard.
