Study on the Influence of the Correction of Road Resistance on the Emission and Fuel Consumption of Light-Duty Vehicles in Plateau Environment
According to the resistance correction method recommended in GB/T 19233-2020 standard, the road load resistance coefficient of light-duty vehicles in plain environment is corrected to the road load resistance coefficient in plateau environment at an altitude of 1 900 m.The vehicle emission and fuel consumption test is conducted under the plain road load resistance and the corrected plateau road load re-sistance.Compared with the plain road load resistance coefficient, the vehicle emission and fuel consump-tion results with the corrected plateau road load resistance have the following main changes:the nitrogen oxide NOx increases by 8.5%,the total hydrocarbon THC decreases by 20.1%,the carbon monoxide CO decreases by 26.6%,the particle number PN decreases by 14.3%,and the fuel consumption decreases by 10.7%.This result shows that the plateau conditions have obvious effects on vehicle emissions and fuel consumption.
