Study on the Influence of DPF Carbon Loading on PN Emission of Heavy Vehicles
Eight PEMS tests were conducted from the time when the carbon load of DPF was 0%to the time when the carbon load of DPF was 100%and reached the post-treatment regeneration state. To study the effect of DPF carbon load on PN specific emissions, the transient data are divided into Bin grids ac-cording to parameters such as instantaneous vehicle speed and instantaneous vehicle specific power, and the relationship between PN average emission concentration and DPF average temperature of each Bin in each test is calculated. The test results show that, except for the PEMs test in which regeneration occurred for the last time, with the increase of DPF carbon load,PN specific emissions show a trend of first increas-ing and then decreasing; With the increase of carbon load, the PN emission concentration of each test in Bin0,Bin1,Bin12 and Bin22 is not much different.PN emission in Bin13 interval generally increases with the increase of carbon load.In Bin23 and Bin33 intervals, the PN emission of PEMs test generally decreases with the increase of carbon load.
