Research on Dynamic Torque Distribution Strategy of Electric Vehicles for Optimal Economy
To enhance the vehicle energy efficiency of four-wheel-drive electric vehicles,a strategy for dynamic torque distribution between the front and rear motors based on the optimal efficiency of the motor system is put forward. The vehicle simulation model is constructed in CRUISE,and the torque distribution strategy model is established in Simulink. The distribution of front and rear motor torques and power con-sumption under various vehicle speeds and different wheel-end torques are calculated through co-simula-tion.Through the comparative analysis of the calculation results of multiple torque distribution strategies and the comparison between the measured data of the test vehicle on the test site and the simulation re-sults,it is verified that the proposed dynamic torque distribution strategy is feasible.Additionally, the fea-sibility of enhancing the motor efficiency and reducing the vehicle power consumption after adopting the disengagement device in the low-torque stage of the four-wheel-drive vehicle model is discussed.
