Analysis of Force on Steering System and Selection of Steering Motor
Taking a dual-pinion electric power steering system(DP-EPS)as an example,this paper ana-lyzes the force of the steering system,introduces the calculation of the rack force required by the steering system in the steering process,and calculates the motor torque from the rack force,thus introduces the preliminary selection method of the steering motor,which provides a reference for the calculation of rack force,motor torque and motor selection in the early development of the steering system.
