Gene editing holds significant importance for precision medicine and the enhancement of hu-man health.However,it also entails considerable ethical,moral,and legal risks.Based on the perspective of civil law,it can be found that gene editing poses potential risks in terms of life equality,intergenerational equality,social equity,and human development in the context of modern biomedical ethics.Therefore,upon the assurance of technological safety,the principles of human-centricity and risk prevention should be estab-lished as the ethical boundaries of gene editing ethics within civil law.
