"Blocking"or"Facilitating":Social Demands and Policy Responses to Autonomous Driving--Taking Wuhan's"Luobo Kuaipao"as an Example
Based on a questionnaire survey of 2,531 Wuhan citizens and in-depth interviews with over 100 stakeholders, this paper takes"Luobo Kuaipao"as a mirror to deeply analyze the path and strategies for autonomous driving technology to move from conception to reality. The research finds that the promotion of au-tonomous driving technology not only has the feasibility of widespread social acceptance but also demonstrates an irreversible development trend amidst multi-party interactions. The public's concerns are precisely focused on core issues such as the adaptability of urban planning, challenges in employment transformation, the de-mand for safety assurance, and the reshaping of the interest structure.Based on this, this paper innovatively proposes targeted policy responses, including optimizing timeline management to control the pace of autono-mous driving implementation, safeguarding people's livelihoods and strengthening the transformation support for the unemployed, safeguarding public safety and enhancing the collaborative governance capabilities of traf-fic police, and planning a win-win situation to build an interest-balanced ecosystem. It aims to provide strong policy guidance and practical reference for the comprehensive implementation and promotion of autonomous driving technology.
