In traditional Confucianism,benevolence ethics first point to blood ethics,which emphasizes the importance of love starting from relatives.The"other ethics"constructed by Confucians in Han and Tang Dynasties highlighted the"primacy"of others in loving relatives and expanded the scope of Confucian blood ethics.The"symbiotic ethics"built by the Confucians of Song and Ming Dynasties emphasized the love of all things from the perspective of the benevolence of one body.By investigating the occurrence pattern and geneal-ogy evolution of Confucian benevolence ethics,we can eliminate the misunderstanding of Confucian benevo-lence thought in the past.
