Based on the historical investigation,the application of breakthrough technology could form a certain form of production and industrial organization,which would be implemented into a specific urban space,and act on the urban system together with the development results of productive forces,which jointly promote urban evolution.Under the effect of new quality productive forces,data becomes the key element of urban development,changes the structure of urban income distribution,and affects the agglomeration and dis-persion mechanism of cities.New quality productive forces promotes the integration of urban digital space with physical space and social space,and empowers the urban system from the aspects of overall collaboration,in-telligence and resilience.In order to effectively utilize the new quality productive forces and promote the high-quality development of cities,we need to focus on three aspects:creating the urban environment conducive to the vitality of the elements,constructing the smooth and orderly urban space carrier,and improving the appli-cation and transformation ability of advanced technologies in urban governance.
