Quitting Temptation and Restarting Trust:Governance of Online Violence in the Context of Digital Communication
Online violence in the digital age is regarded as a new type of online violence due to its surviv-al nature,high significance,and strong moral constraints.From the perspective of crisis communication in dig-ital communication,new types of online violence mainly include"harmful information type"in distorted envi-ronments,"risky ride type"in group communication,and"occasional crisis event type".The lack of social ra-tionality triggers emotional violence,the loosening of facts triggers ethical relativism,and the empowerment of media concepts triggers physical crises,which are the deep-seated social causes of online violence.In the face of online violence,group communication should give up the temptation of violence,media platforms should fully utilize their"marking"function,individual netizens need to reshape their digital social health,and digi-tal communication must reaffirm social trust.
