Research progress on the role of long non-coding RNA nicotinamide nucleotide transhydrogenase-an-tisense RNA1 in the occurrence and development of lung cancer
Lung cancer is the malignant tumor with the highest fatality rate in the world, and its main treatment methods are surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and targeted therapy.Recent studies have found that nicotinamide nucleotide transhydrogenase-antisense RNA1(NNT Antisense RNA 1,NNT-AS1),as a newly discovered long non-coding RNA(LncRNA)molecule,is correlated with the apoptosis, proliferation, migration and invasion of lung cancer tissues and cells through miR-3666/E2F2,miR-22-3p/YAPl,miR-22/FOXMl,miR-1236-3p/ATG7,miR-129-5p,Mitogen-activated protein kinase/Slug and other signaling pathways, and is also involved in the mediation of cisplatin resistance in lung cancer.NNT-AS 1 is significantly associated with poor survival outcomes and poor clinicopathological characteristics of lung cancer, which can provide new therapeutic targets and prognostic markers for lung cancer. This article reviews the research progress on the role of LncRNA NNT-AS 1 in the occurrence and development of lung cancer.
