Non-traumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head(NONFH)is a disabling disease of the hip joint and severe-ly affects the quality of life of patients. The complex pathogenesis of NONFH has not yet been investigated clearly,so clinical diagnosis and treatment are limited. In recent years,multi-omics,as a high-throughput detection and analysis technique, has played an essential role in unraveling the characteristics of NONFH and aiding the diagnosis of the disease. This article reviews the latest applications of and advances in multi-omics including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics in NONFH,so as to provide new ideas for further exploration of the pathogenesis of NONFH.
