Schizophrenia is a severe mental illness with significant public health implications. Its clinical manifestations are in some cases similar to organic brain disorders, making it challenging to diagnose and treat clinically.Magnetic resonance has been widely used to assess brain structure and function in patients with schizophrenia in order to screen for underlying organic brain lesions or to study the structural and functional characteristics of the brain.Schizophrenia inpatients suffer from severe thinking and behavioral disorders, and there is an urgent need to establish a protocol for the magnetic resonance examination process for this special group. In this paper, based on domestic and international experience and data related to magnetic resonance examination of schizophrenia, the overall process of magnetic resonance examination for schizophrenic patients is developed to promote the standardized application of this examination process.
