The History Examination of the Time of the Establishment of Tsinghua Institute of Statistics and Census Research
There are different opinions about the time when the establishment of Tsinghua Institute of Statistics and Census Research among the researchers of history of sociology,history of University of Tsinghua and history of National Southwestern Associated University.The researchers of sociology almost considered the year of 1939 as its establishment time while many related history literature and memoirs shows 1938 is the right year.This article examines the time based on many history resources,archives and memoirs,and its conclusion is the time when the establishment of Tsinghua Institute of Statistics and Census Research is the year of 1938.
