The heterosis and genetic regulation of four mineral elements(Ca、Mg、Fe and Zn)among hybrids and backcross gen-erations of Brassica napus L.× Brassica com pestris L.Var.Purpurea Bailey were studied. The results show that Ca and Fe have mid-parent dominance or super-parent dominance, but the dominance is not significant;the element contents of Ca,Mg,Fe,and Zn in hybrid and backcross progeny fluctuate to varying degrees, and the variation amplitude and variation of most elements The maximum value of the coefficient appears in BC1 generation. It shows that the BC1 generation is the key generation to select and improve the mineral element content of interspecific hybrid offspring; The contents of Ca,Mg and Fe were close to or over recurrent parents in the fifth backcross populations; These results were helpful to find out the variational regulation of mineral elements between hybrids and backcross generations of Brassica napus L.× Brassica compestris L.Var.Purpurea Bailey,at the same time, some germplasm resources for quality breeding of Brassica compestris L.Var.Purpurea Bailey would be provided.
