The political essays of the early Han Dynasty are represented by Lu Jia's Xinyu,Jia Yi's New Book and Huainan Zi.In these political essays,Yan Emperor and Yellow Emperor were quoted and discussed many times with the image of a kind and wise monarch,which was used as a kind of"false pretext"to express the political views of the politicians of the early Han Dy-nasty to emphasize agriculture and suppress commerce.This is closely related to the rise of Huang Lao's learning in the early Han Dynasty,which reflects the Taoism thought in the specific period of the early Han Dynasty,and also reflects the Yan Huang view of the early Han scholars.
