Investigation and Analysis of Alien Invasive Plants in Youlan Wetland Park of Tanghe County
Facing the severe damage that invasive alien plants bring to local ecosystems and biodiversity, effective coping strate-gies are essential.A field investigation was conducted on the invasion of alien plants in the Youlan National Wetland Park in Tanghe County, and a risk assessment index system was established and assessed to provide scientific support for the manage-ment and control of invasive plant species. The survey results showed that there are a total of 50 species of invasive alien plants in the Youlan National Wetland Park, belonging to 21 families and 44 genera. The top three families in terms of proportion are Asteraceae(13 species),Leguminosae(6 species),and Poaceae(4 species).Herbs are the dominant life form, with 96%of the invasive alien plants being herbs. The majority of the invasive alien plants are classified as high-risk and general-risk lev-els,accounting for about 76%of the invasive alien plants.Based on this, prevention and control recommendations are pro-posed:control from the source, monitoring and early warning;strengthen public science education to raise awareness of eco-logical security;scientifically introduce species, strengthen quarantine and scientific control. This can more effectively reduce the negative impact of invasive alien plants on the ecosystem of the Youlan National Wetland Park in Tanghe County.
