Effects of Mixed Salt Stress on Seedling Traits of Two Scented Rice Lines
Two scented rice lines(Teyou and Xiangdaowan)in Xinyang area were used as experimental materials to explore the effect of NaCl and Na2SO4 mixed salt(1∶1)on the seedling traits.Different concentrations(0.00%,0.10%,0.40%,0.70%,1.00%)of salt were used to treat test materials. The results showed that under the low-concentration mixed salt stress, the degree of suppression of seedling height, root length, and root number of the two lines was not significant. With the increase of the mixed salt concentration, the two scented rice lines showed significant inhibition of seedling height, root length and root number.Within a certain range of mixed salt concentration, the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)increased with the increase of mixed salt concentration, and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)in-creased with the increase of mixed salt concentration.Among them, the change of the special SOD and POD activity was grea-ter than that of the Xiangdaowan, and the change of the MDA content was smaller than that of the Xiangdaowan.According to the analysis of the test data,it can be seen that the excellent salt tolerance is better than that of Xiangdaowan.
