Current situation and influencing factors of college students'learning burnout
Objective To understand the current situation of college students'learning burnout and its influencing factors,so as to provide a evidence for stimulating college students'positive emotions and promoting learning behaviors.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted on 307 college students in Jiangsu Province using the multi-stage sampling method and the College Student Learning Burnout Scale.Results The total score of college students'learning burnout was(41±10);the difference in misbehavior scores among college students of different grades was statistically significant(t=1.489,P<0.05),the difference in low achievement scores among college students of different disciplines was statistically significant(t=2.066,P<0.05),and the difference between the misbehavior scores and total scores of academic burnout among college students of different school types was statistically significant(t=6.185,P<0.01;t=4.910,P<0.01),and the differences in low mood,misbehavior,low achievement scores and total academic burnout scores among college students of different learning levels were statistically significant(t=8.263,P<0.001;t=21.598,P<0.001;t=12.901,P<0.001;t=22.410,P<0.001).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that grade,discipline,school type and learning level were the influencing factors of college students'learning burnout(P<0.05).Conclusion Moderate levels of academic burnout exist among college students,with higher levels of burnout among upper-division college students,liberal arts college students,college students at dual-nonprofit institutions,and college students at lower academic levels.
