Objective To explore the relationship between psychological capital and academic achievement,and to provide a basis for improving college students'academic achievement from the perspective of enhancing psychological capital.Methods A questionnaire was conducted on 515 college students using the Positive Psychological Questionnaire(PPQ)and the Academic Achievement Questionnaire as research tools.Results① Psychological capital played a significant and positive role in predicting academic achievement and had a positive correlation with academic achievement(r=0.668、0.542、0.629、0.649、0.733,all P<0.05).②Academic achievement and psychological capital have significant differences in the areas of student origin,only child,and so on(P<0.05).Conclusion The psychological capital of college students is positively correlated with academic achievement,and the more psychological capital they have,the higher academic achievement they get.Therefore,improving the level of psychological capital of college students can help promote academic achievement.
