Objective To understand the current situation of intimate fear and marriage attitude of college students,to explore the influence of love experience on these two aspects of college students,and to provide reference for the education of marriage and love.Methods An online questionnaire survey was conducted among 1 182 college students with Intimacy and Fear Component Scale and Marriage Attitude Scale.Results Fear of losing oneself(F=3.60,P=0.028),general marriage attitude(F=3.88,P=0.021)and self-marriage outlook(F=10.36,P<0.001)were significantly different among different love experiences,the students with no love experience had higher score than those with two or more love experiences(P=0.027),and the scores of marriage attitude were lower than those with love experience(P<0.05).There were significant differences among different love states in the two dimensions of intimacy fear(F1=3.35,P1=0.035,F2=18.00,P2<0.001)and marriage attitude(F1=7.40,P1=0.001,F2=21.94,P2<0.001).The students who were in love had the lowest score of fear of losing themselves(P<0.001)and the highest score of marriage attitude(P<0.05).The students who had been in love but were single now had a higher score of fear of losing each other than those who had never been in love(P=0.046).Conclusions Students with more love experiences tend to have lower intimacy fear and more positive attitudes toward marriage.Being in love can reduce the fear of intimacy and improve the positivity of marriage attitude of college students,and the failure of love experience can increase the fear of intimacy and reduce the positivity of marriage attitude.
