Bon's Factors in the Tombs of Dulan Wayan Reservoir in Qinghai Province——Also on the identity of the tomb owner of M23
Based on the results of archaeological excavation of the tombs of the Tubo period(the ancient Tibet)at Dulan Wayan Reservoir in Qinghai Province in 2014,the contents of the Bon religion-related Tibetan manu-scripts found in Dunhuang and some related research results, this paper argues that a large number of animal bones, sacrifice pits and oracle bones made of sheep's scapula found in the tombs at Wayan Reservoir have strong Bon cultural factors of the Tubo period.Especially in M23,a large number of pottery lamps, oracle bones, sheep's scapular bones with ink-painted human images and some other relics being used as tools for divination or sacrificial rituals were found,so it is believed that the identity.of the tomb owner of M23 should be a Bon priest presiding over the funeral ceremonies.
