Exploring Paths of Building Tibet into a Green Highland at the Earth's Third Pole
Tibet holds a significant ecological strategic position,serving as a crucial ecological security barrier not only for China but also for Asia and the world.However,its ecological environment is highly fragile,character-ized by instability and sensitivity,making it susceptible to the impacts of climate change and human activities.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the establishment of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization ideology has provided a new development path for China's ecological civilization construction in the new era,injecting strong momentum into Tibet's ecological civilization construction.This paper explores nine main paths to realize the construction of Tibet as an ecological civilization highland,including building a beauti-ful Tibet with ecological prosperity,promoting harmonious coexistence between the people and nature of Tibet,advancing win-win ecological production in Tibet,scientifically exploring the transformation path of the"Two Mountains"theory in Tibet,comprehensively coordinating the integrated protection of Tibet's mountains,rivers,forests,farmlands,lakes,grasslands,sands,and ice,enhancing the well-being of all ethnic groups in Tibet,gov-erning the ecological environment of Tibet in accordance with laws and regulations,constructing a grand food view that aligns with Tibet's resource endowment and historical heritage,and embarking on a path of"dual car-bon"that suits Tibet's reality.These paths provide theoretical support for practicing Xi Jinping's ecological civili-zation ideology and building Tibet into a green highland at the Earth's Third Pole.
