An Analysis of the Research Content and Characteristics of Issues 1-7 of JIATS
Exploring the situation of Tibetan studies from an international perspective is crucial for understanding the trends and changes in hot topics of international Tibetology.This article primarily analyzes the papers pub-lished in JIATS(the Journals of the International Association for Tibetan Studies)covering all issues from the first to the seventh since its inception on the evolution of discipline classifications,prolific authors,research insti-tutions,and research hotspots.The analysis reveals the characteristics of international Tibetan studies,showing a trend of moving from interdisciplinary integration to in-depth exploration in specific fields,focusing on changes in modern society and the study of specific historical figures.Furthermore,the researchers and institutions from the United States,Germany,France,and Austria play a leading role in the field of Tibetan studies.
