Research on the Effect of Digital Rural Construction on Enabling Farmers and Herdsmen to Increase Income——An Empirical Test Based on the County Data of Tibet
Based on the 2019 and 2020's digital rural index data of 65 counties in Tibet,an empirical test has been done on the income-increasing effect of digital rural construction on farmers and herdsmen in Tibet.The re-sults show that:1.digital rural construction has a positive effect on the income of the farmers and herdsmen in Ti-bet,and digital infrastructure,rural economic digitization,rural governance digitization and rural life digitization all have a significant positive effect on the income of farmers and herdsmen in Tibet,among which the effect of rural economic digitization is the most significant one,but the effect of rural life digitization the least one.2.The results of heterogeneity analysis show that with the passage of time,the digital rural index is constantly improv-ing,and its promotion effect on the income increase of the farmers and herdsmen continues to improve.More spe-cifically,the effect on the Tibetan farmers and herdsmen in non-border counties is significantly positive,but on the ones in border counties is not significant.The income-increasing effect on the Tibetan farmers and herdsmen in agricultural counties and semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral counties is positive,and the promotion effect on the ones in agricultural counties is greater,while the effect on the ones in pastoral counties is not significant.
