On the Interactions and Exchanges between Ancient Tibetan Sports Culture and Other Ethnic Cultures of China
Forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation is General Secretary Xi Jinping's innovation on the Party's ethnic theories with the times,and it is also a major issue given to us by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC).The article explains the evolution of ancient Tibetan sports culture,which is rooted in the regional culture of the plateau,through literature review,fieldwork and logical analysis.The study concludes that the ancient Tibetan sports culture developed gradually in the extensive interactions and ex-changes with the cultures of various ethnic groups in China,and that in the deeply integrated Han's and Tibetan cultures,the sports culture,functioning as glue,shaped the pattern of the ancient Tibetan sports culture,which is a pluralistic and integral part of the Chinese nation.It is proposed that the history of ancient Tibetan sports'inter-actions and exchanges with other ethnic cultures of China should be explored and researched,and its intrinsic connection with the sense of community for the Chinese nation so as to promote the innovation,inheritance and development of the Tibetan sports culture in the context of Chinese cultural identity.
