Research on the Exhibition of Tibet-related Cultural Relics During the Period of the Republic of China from the Perspective of Inter-ethnic Communication
Due to the difference in nature and duration,the exhibition of Tibet-related cultural relics during the period the Republic of China can be divided into two types:specialized exhibition of Tibet-related cultural rel-ics,comprehensive exhibition of frontier cultural relics or exhibition of Tibet-related cultural relics in museums.Specialized exhibition and comprehensive one were usually short-term ones.The exhibition in museums was mainly long-term one.Under the historical background of frontier crisis and frontier development,the exhibition was aimed at promoting inter-ethnic communication and understanding.The study found that the collection,sort-ing and display of Tibetan-related cultural relics affected by the development of modem museology and ethnolo-gy were inseparable from the participation and interactions between Tibetans and other ethnic groups,so as to ef-fectively convey the cultural values contained in cultural relics to visitors.
