On the Chinese Translation of Tibetan Biographical Literature in the Past Hundred Years from the Perspective of the Academic History of Tibetan Studies
Due to its dual characteristics of literature and history and valuable cultural value,the Tibetan bio-graphical literature has become an important material selected in the field of Chinese-Tibetan literary transla-tion in the past hundred years,and has been highly favored by translators,resulting in many translated works.The article explores the development of Chinese translation of the Tibetan biographical literature and the main translations from the perspective of the academic history of Tibetan studies,so as to comprehensively present the translation achievements in this field.At the same time,it also probes into the social contexts,textual features and interactions between various translation subjects,aiming to provide some references for the history of Chi-nese-Tibetan translation.
