The Pioneer of Teaching Tibetan Classical Literature and Tibetan Science of Logic in Colleges and Universities-An interview with Mr.Qi Shunlai,a famous Tibetologist
Mr.Qi Shunlai is a tenured professor of Qinghai Minzu University,a doctoral supervisor of logic,an ex-ecutive member of Hetuvidya Specialized Committee of the Chinese Society of Logic,and an experts entitled to Special Government Allowances of the State Council.His main research areas are Tibetan science of logic(gtan-tshigs)and Tibetan classical literature,and he has successively published six monographs about these two topics,which has filled the gap of no teaching materials on Tibetan classical literature and Tibetan science of logic in the colleges and universities of nationalities across the country,and has won a number of national,provincial and ministerial honors.Moreover,he has published more than 40 academic papers,making significant contributions to the study of Tibetan classical literature and Tibetan science of logic.Based on his academic career and his main research achievements,an academic interview with Mr.Qi Shunlai is conducted on his compiling and sort-ing-out work of Tibetan classical literary works,and his teaching and research of Tibetan science of logic in col-leges and universities.
