A Study on the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation Embodied in Tibetan Historical Documents of the Ming Dynasty
After centuries of accumulation and excavation,the compilation of the Tibetan historical documents of the Ming Dynasty has achieved a remarkable improvement in both quality and quantity.These documents are rich in content and diverse in form.The methods and experiences of compiling,preserving and utilizing the docu-ments have been improving,especially the increasingly fine-grained classification of them.Based on the original materials among Tibetan literature,the characteristics of the Tibetan historical documents of the Ming Dynasty are analyzed,citing from the historical documents of other ethnic groups,the complementary corroboration of Ti-betan and Han-Chinese historical materials,and the adoption of many different ethnic chronological methods,for instance.Through meticulous research,the most characteristic and valuable historical materials are screened out,and the characteristics and laws of the Tibetan historical documents of Ming Dynasty are explored from the perspective of compilation science of historical documents.The study not only reveals the close and harmonious friendly relations among the Han,Tibetans,Mongolians and other ethnic groups during the Ming Dynasty,but al-so reflects the Tibetan historical compilers'sense of identify with the central government.This study is of great academic value for deepening the study of the Tibetan history and forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation,and it also provides an important and realistic reference for the central government in formulating policies for Tibet today.
