Introduction,Exploration,and Reflection:A Review of Research on Career Education in Chinese Universities
The issue of challenging employment for college students has received significant social attention.Assisting college students in finding employment has become a crucial responsibility of career education in universities.Research on career education in universities has become an increasingly important topic in the field of higher education research in China.Overall,the theoretical research on career education in Chinese universities is still in the process of development,and the practical research has not yet established its own unique characteristics.Research content primarily focuses on introducing foreign career education theories and practical experiences,local action exploration research,and rational reflection.Research results indicate that career education in foreign universities tends to prioritize theoretical systematization and practical specialization,whereas career education in Chinese universities tends to prioritize gradual policy implementation and stable practice.It has been suggested by researchers that enhancing the quality of teaching staff,innovating educational methods,and reforming curriculum evaluation could be effective measures to improve career education in Chinese universities.In terms of research trends,future career education research should focus on cultivating college students'career adaptability,adopting interdisciplinary research methods and using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to create a research discourse system with new era characteristics.
