To explore the regional difference in the total factor production efficiency of the construction industry in Anhui Province,based on the reasonable selection of input-output indicators,C2 R and BC2 models were first constructed to analyze the reasons for comprehensive efficiency and ineffective production efficiency.Then,the SE-DEA model was used to calculate the super efficiency value and further identify the regional difference in production efficiency among different cities.Finally,the Malmquist index model was used to analyze the trend of the production efficiency of the construction industry in Anhui Province from 2017 to 2021.The study found that the overall production efficiency of Anhui construction industry was higher in 2021,and there was a large regional difference among cities.During the research period,production efficiency showed an increasing trend,and technological progress was the main reason for the development of the construction industry.
