Optimal Strategy of Low-carbon Layout of University Campus from the Perspective of Carbon Footprint:A Case Study of Xuzhou University of Technology
In light of the promotion of the "dual-carbon" development strategy and the advocacy of energy saving and emission reduction, the construction of low-carbon campuses has become an indispensable social responsibility and mission of colleges and universities. As the primary consumers of energy on university campuses, students exert a considerable influence on campus carbon emissions through their energy usage habits and carbon emission behaviors. In order to gain insight into the carbon footprint of students in the fields of architecture, transportation, and life, this paper carries out a case study of Xuzhou University of Technology, employs a combination of carbon footprint theory and questionnaire surveys, along with data measurement methods.Targeted optimal strategies and implementation paths for low-carbon layouts in university campuses are proposed, with a view to providing a reference point for theoretical research on green low-carbon campuses.
