Rotor Displacement Self-detection of Six-pole Outer Rotor Radial Hybrid Magnetic Bearing
In order to address the challenges of high cost and large volume of six-pole hybrid magnetic bearings(SHMB)equipped with displacement sensors,a displacement estimation technique using the modified particle swarm optimization(MPSO)least square support vector machine(LS-SVM)is presented.Firstly, the structure and principles of the six-pole outer rotor radial hybrid magnetic bearing are outlined, and the math model for its radial suspension force is obtained using the Maxwell tensor method.Secondly, the inertia weight of MPSO is changed to achieve faster iterations, and the LS-SVM based MPSO prediction model is constructed. The model is then simulated and verified using the parameters optimised by the MPSO,and the predicted values of MPSO and PSO are compared. Finally, the static floating experiment, dynamic suspension experiment, and disturbance experiment are conducted, which confirm the robustness and stability of the displacement estimation method.
