The Effect of the Anchoring Angle of Anchor Rod on Slope Safety Factors
In the field of highway slope engineering, the anchoring design of anchor rods represents a common and effective form of protection. As a pivotal component in the engineering of anchor rods, the anchoring angle exerts a significant influence on the stability and economic viability of the comprehensive anchoring slope engineering system. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the anchoring angle of anchor rods on the safety and economy of anchoring slope engineering. It determines the optimal anchoring angle for anchor rods and verifies the practicality of this angle through PLAXIS 2D numerical simulation. The results of the numerical simulation demonstrate that the optimal anchoring angle of the anchor rod is 40°,which results in a slope safety factor that is essentially at its maximum value. The optimal anchoring effect is achieved with the anchor rod, which also offers the greatest stability to the slope.
