摘要
自20世纪70年代,考古学家和古生物学家在海拔4200米的昌都地市,发现了一批珍贵的恐龙化石.而这些恐龙化石之所以非常珍贵,不仅因为填补了恐龙在早期演化阶段的缺环,更重要的是为科学工作者提供了研究青藏高原地质演变过程的依据.文章通过在藏东中侏罗统陆相沉积地层分布区开展专项恐龙化石地质遗迹调查与评价新发现足迹化石点4处、骨骼化石点3处,在昌都市卡若区城关镇达玛拉山一带发现了一批具有较大潜力的恐龙化石产地,为藏东地区恐龙化石资源的研究、利用、保护及管理提供依据.
Abstract
Since the 1970s,archaeologists and paleontologists have discovered a number of precious dinosaur fossils in the city of Qamdo at an altitude of 4,200 meters.The reason why these dinosaur fossils are so precious is not only because they fill the missing link in the early evolution stage of dinosaures,but more importantly,they provide a ba-sis for scientists to study the geological evolution process of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.In this paper,a special in-vestigation and evaluation of dinosaur fossil geological relics was carried out in the distribution area of the Middle Ju-rassic continental sedimentary stratigraphic stratain eastern Xizang,4 footprint fossil sites and 3 skeleton fossil sites were newly discovered and a number of dinosaur fossil sources with great potential have been found in the area of Da-mala Mountain,Chengguan Town,Karo District,Qamdo City,which provides a basis for the research,utilization,pro-tection and management of dinosaur fossil resources in eastern Xizang.
