Objective In order to better standardize and control the quality of Tibetan medicine Bailiang Duhuo,the quality standards were studied so as to provide a scientific basis for its quality control.Methods Referring to the rel-evant methods specified in the 2020 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the people's Republic of China,the characters,microscopic characteristics and inspection items of Bailiang Duhuo medicinal materials were detected.The thin-layer chromatography(TLC)method was used to establish a thin-layer identification method with silica gel G as the thin-layer plate,petroleum ether(60-90)-ethyl acetate(3:1)as the developing solvent,and imperatorin as the reference substance.Results The microscopic identification characteristics and thin-layer identification characteristics of Ti-betan medicine Bailiang Duhuo were described accurately.Its moisture content is 9.9%-11.0%,the total ash is 5.4%-9.1%,the acid-insoluble ash is 0.79%-4.98%,and the content of water-soluble extract is 30.71%-38.83%.Conclusion This study was the first to comprehensively investigate the quality indexes of Bailiang Duhuo medicinal materials in Xizang,and its quality could be effectively evaluated.
