A study on the long-term prognostic value of cardiac color ultrasound combined with NT-proBNP to evaluate patients with high-altitude chronic heart failure
Objective The study aims to investigate the value of cardiac color ultrasound combined with NT-proBNP in evaluating the long-term prognosis of patients with high-altitude chronic heart failure. Methods A totla of 96 pa-tients with high-altitude chronic heart failure were selected for cardiac color ultrasound and NT-proBNP detection, and the clinical data of the patients were collected. The prognosis of patients was counted, and the patients were divid-ed into two groups, named survival group and death group. Results The levels of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and NT-proBNP in the survival group were significantly bet-ter than those in the death group(P<0.05).According to the multivariate regression analysis,LVEF,LVEDD,and NT-proBNP were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with high-altitude chronic heart failure. Conclusion The combined evaluation of cardiac color ultrasound and NT-proBNP is helpful to predict the long-term prognosis of patients with high-altitude chronic heart failure, and is of great significance for clinical treatment and prognosis judgment.
