西藏昂仁县树龄超过300年和1000年的古树树木年轮学论证

西藏西部地区由于生境严酷,很难发现树龄特大的古树.笔者在2023年对昂仁县的古树资源调查中,发现了两棵树龄特大的大果圆柏(Juiperus tibetica Kom.)古树.一棵古树位于达局乡甘丹塔空寺内,采集到的树芯样本接近树干髓心,通过树木年轮学方法鉴定其树龄约为306年(起始于1716年).另一棵古树位于多白乡谢村,其胸围高达8.5米,仅采集到12厘米的树芯样本上有216个年轮,推算这棵古树的树龄超过了千年.两株古树的树木年轮数据既反映了区域气候变化信号,也反映了局地小生境和人们对古树的保护信号,同时显示了古树目前生长处于健康状态.研究结果丰富了昂仁县古树本底资源信息,对认识西藏西部地区古树文化、生态、气候、科研和社会价值具有重要意义.
Tree-ring demonstration of ancient trees over 300 years old and 1000 years old in Angren County,Xizang
Due to the harsh habitat in western Xizang(Tibet),it is hard to find old trees with hundreds of years.In the 2023 survey of ancient tree resources in Angren County,the authors found two very ancient trees,Sabina tibetica Juiperus tibetica Kom..One grows in Gandan Takong Temple of Daju Township.Its core sample was close to the pith of the trunk,and its age was identified as 306 years(starting from year 1716)by the dendrochronology method.Another ancient tree,located in Xie Village,Duobai Township,has chest circumference 8.5 meters,and only 12 cm of core samples collected with 216 growth rings,which is estimated to be more than 1,000 years old.The tree-ring data of the two ancient trees not only reflect the regional climate change signal,but also reflect the local niche and people's protection signals of the ancient trees,and show that the ancient trees is currently growing in a healthy state.Our findings enrich the background resource of ancient trees in Angren County,and are of great significance for under-standing the culture,ecology,climate,scientific research and social values of ancient trees in western Xizang.
