The Protection and Restoration of the Qing Dynasty silk tapestry Robe with Cloud Dragon Pattern
Along with the working steps of information collection,disease detection and analysis,disinfection and cleaning,smoothing and restoration,and the repairing and restoration concept combined with modern sci-tech means and traditional needlework restoration,this paper shares the whole process of the protection and restoration of the Qing dynasty silk tapestry robe with cloud dragon pattern,which is collected from Xizang Museum.The integrity of the robe is restored,and the purpose of exhibition display and preservation management is achieved.It provides cer-tain scientific guidance and technical reference for the protection and restoration of similar cultural relics,and pro-vides important physical materials for the study of Qing Dynasty clothing,pattern art,weaving craft,and also the rela-tionship between Xizang and the motherland.
