Investigation and measures of fertility status and fertility intention in Gongbu jiangda County,Nyingchi,Xizang
Objective To investigate the fertility intention of women in Gongbujiangda County,Nyingchi,Xizang and analyze the influencing factors of the continuous decline in the number of live births.Methods A questionnaire survey covering the three aspects of general data,fertility intention and social support was conducted among female patients who visited the county hospital from May to November in 2023.A multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of fertility intention of women in Xizang.Results There were statistically sig-nificant differences in fertility intention between non-working women and working women(P＜0.05).The main sub-jective reason for reluctance to have more children is high financial pressure.The most expected supporting guarantee is the social subsidy for childbirth and parenting.Conclusion There is great room for improving the fertility willing-ness of working women to have the second child,but willingness of the third child is not high.The desire of having more children among the non-working women is universal,but the concept of having fewer and better children has gradually formed.It is more feasible to increase economic and social support,improve supporting guarantees such as subsidies,insurance,educational resources and childcare,and reasonably guide the improvement of fertility rate.
