The impact of climate change on crop yields in Dingri County
Based on the yield data of wheat, barley and pea in Dingri County,Xizang from 1999 to 2023,as well as the observation data of temperature, precipitation and sunshine hours in the same time period, the characteristics of climate change and crop yield changes in Dingri County were analyzed by linear trend method, and the impact of cli-mate change on crop yield was discussed. The results showed that the annual mean temperature in Dingri County pre-sented an increasing trend from 1999 to 2023,with a warming rate of 0.19℃/10a,and the largest warming range in summer. The annual precipitation showed a fluctuating and decreasing trend, with a decreasing rate of-61.68mm/10a,with the most obvious decreasing trend in summer and no obvious precipitation change in winter. The annual sun-shine hours showed an obvious increasing trend at a rate of 69.88h/10a,with the longest sunshine hours in spring and the most obvious increas in summer. The average grain output in Dingri County from 1999 to 2023 was 2,8077.70t,and the yield of highland barley was the highest. The annual grain output showed an obvious increasing trend at a rate of 3814.61t/10a,and the change rate of highland barley yield was 4473.92t/10a,which was more obvious in compar-ison.There was a positive correlation between crop yield and temperature in Dingri County. For every 10.00℃ in-crease in temperature, the crop yield increased by 30624.02t,and the highland barley yield increased by 37305.01t.It was a negative correlation with precipitation, but not significant. There was also a positive correlation with the sun-shine hours that the crop yield increased by 59.74 t and the highland barley crop yield increased by 64.49t for every 10h increase of sunshine hours.
