Analysis of the incidence and risk factors of post-traumatic stress disorder in orthope-dic patients at high altitudes
Objective To explore the incidence and risk factors of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)in orthope-dic patients at high altitudes. Methods A total of 120 cases of orthopedic patients at high altitudes were selected as the research subjects, and the patients were classified according to whether they had PTSD or not.The patients with PTSD were set as the observation group(n=51),and those without PTSD were set as the control group(n=69).The general data and condition of the patients in the two groups were compared, and the incidence and risk factors of PTSD in orthopedic patients at high altitudes were analyzed by univariate analysis and binary Logistics multiple re-gression analysis. The incidence and risk factors of post-traumatic stress disorder in orthopedic patients were ana-lyzed using univariate analysis and binary logistic multiple regression. Results According to statistics, among the 120 high-altitude orthopedic patients,51 cases(42.50%)were positive for PTSD.There were statistically significant differences in gender, occupation type, place of residence, per capita monthly income, payment method for diagnosis and treatment, length of stay in Xizang, and fracture type between patients with PTSD and those without PTSD(P<0.05).The data of multivariate logistic linear regression model showed that gender, occupation type, place of resi-dence,per capita monthly income, payment method for diagnosis and treatment, length of stay in Xizang, and fracture type were the main risk factors for PTSD in patients with fracture at high-altitudes(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of PTSD in orthopedic patients at high-altitudes is high, which may be affected by factors such as gender, occupation type, place of residence, per capita monthly income, payment method for diagnosis and treatment, length of stay in Xizang, and type of fracture.
